Katara is one of Doha's most beautiful beaches and spans over 1.5 km. Katara has reduced the prices for all of its water sports activities by 50% with entrance fees to the beach being QR 10 for adults and free of charge for persons under 18 years old. Any person using any water sports activities of the beach can also enjoy the beach services (umbrellas & chairs) for free.

- All activities depend on weather conditions.
- Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- It's a must to wear a life jacket for all water sports activities.
- Children under 12 years are not allowed to do parasailing unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 14 years are not allowed to water ski, wakeboard, kneeboard or ride the banana boat unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- Children under 18 years are not allowed to ride the sea breaches or jet-skis unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- It is required to complete and sign the disclaimer form provided by the rental shack.
- Skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycle riding and scooter riding are not allowed on Katara Beach.
